This is probably one of the best animal anatomy books available. Not only does it have the drawings of anatomical structures, but it also includes clinical boxes related to the structures on the page that are relevent to common diseases vets will probably see. Unfortunately, the anatomical structures are ALL drawn and its in black and white. Thus it is basically necessary to have accompanying books or other sources to actually learn what different anatomical structures really look like. Overall I believe many will find this book very useful.

The book quality of this particular source is very good considering the length of this book and it is all original. The text is readable in most places and the drawings have good quality. However, there are a few pages where the outer edges are unreadable. As these are only a few pages, it probably won't cause you much trouble.

You should definitely add this anatomy book to your collection if you already haven't.

I forgot to add that this older edition is very similar to the newer additions. Basically all of the drawings are the same in the newer editions. The only difference between the newer editions and the older editions that I could see is the newer editions have a few more clinical boxes and the page numbers differ slightly.
