Description

STRONG WATER-TIGHT CLOSURE of the urinary bladder is desirable after cystotomy. A suture pattern for cystotomy closure should be easy to apply, minimize tension on the incision, not cause restrictive adhesion formation, not reduce the lumen diameter; provide anatomic realignment of tissue layers, not penetrate the mucosa, and provide a water-tight seal to protect against J urine leakage.
