Abstract
In recent years several advance techniques have been developed in the area of genetics and biotechnology which can have application in aquaculture. The winter school on "Recent Advances in MaricutureGenetics and Biotechnology" being conducted at CMFRI is sponsored by ICAR and aims to cater to the needs of young reseanch scientists and teachers in the field of Genetics and Biotechnology and bring about qualitative Improvement in their knowledge and skills in some of the important platform technologies In Mariculture Genetics and Biotechnology
