by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh

intro1cover.jpg

Description

It is an interactive program containing a lot of information and some illustrative videos.
This learning material has been designed to support the Basic Surgical Skills course run by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. These resources should be used before, during and after the practical skills course.
The philosophy of this course is to provide a realistic and supportive learning environment in which surgical trainees can rehearse basic technical skills. During the practical training sessions, tutors will provide guidance and feedback to the attendees. There will be a series of formative assessments during the practical course which are designed to support skills acquisition and will be similar to the assessment format used in the intercollegiate surgical training curriculum.

The course covers the following areas:

· Safety and core skills
· Minor Surgical Procedures
· Haemostasis
· Basic Procedures
· Endoscopic Surgery

Attendees will learn safe practice for a range of commonly used skills, which will require continued rehearsal and support when they return to their clinical work. The techniques and procedures covered in this course are in line with the agreed curriculum for the Basic Surgical Skills Course set out by the four surgical colleges.

thank alot anyway.. for the effort...
There is absolutely nothing offensive or wrong in what Zool wrote. There is absolutely no information about this thread and he had a right to ask what it is. He further reasons out why he asked what he asked and also implies that he should not be misunderstood.
He also thanks the poster for his effort.

And look at what you wrote. Your response is offensive and inappropriate and not in the spirit of this forum.
hey is this person dumb or just nuts without any brains. i recommend this person to forget veterinary. he is a trouble creator and a pain in the a..

I leave it for other members to see who is Dumb, nuts, without any brains

YOU ARE NOW WARNED FOR USING INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE IN THE FORUM.
