Please tell me is it a human or veterinary book? I've tried to find any clues about it in content but I couldn't...

Peruk:

This is a basic and general Pharmacology book, and though it is oriented towards human medicine, it may still contain very useful resources for veterinary medicine as well.

This is a review from Barnes & Noble website:

Description:This up-to-date comprehensive textbook for students taking a course in pharmacology focuses on basic principles and clinical application of drugs. Unique features include a refined focus on drug classes rather that individual drugs, study questions, and case studies at the end of each chapter and updated information.

Purpose:This book will serve as an excellent textbook for a basic pharmacology course.

Audience:It is designed for students in medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, pharmacy, and advanced nursing, as well as for undergraduate students. Practitioners may find other sources more useful for looking up basic information on individual drugs, but this book would be useful for them to review basic pharmacology.

Features:The book covers all of the topics that would be discussed in a basic pharmacology course. Drugs are described in detail and include discussions on mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics, clinical uses, and adverse effects/contraindications. Emerging information has been added, such as that on drugs used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction and herbal medicine. The cases and questions at the end of each chapter will be very useful for students preparing for board exams. There is some variability in the quality of questions from chapter to chapter.

Assessment:This is one of the better basic pharmacology books. It is concise but comprehensive, a feature much appreciated by students.

Nevertheless if you need further details you can visit the site yourself, just click on this link:

I hope this helps.
