Description
Rupture of the cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) is the most common orthopedic injury and cause of lameness in dogs.1 Partial or complete CCL disruption causes stifle joint instability, leading to a cascade of inflammatory and pathologic changes resulting in synovitis, osteoarthritis, meniscal injury, and altered stifle kinematics.
