WHAT DOES IT DO?
The Weight Clinic 2.0 is essentially a complete new application. It takes the simple ideas embodied in the 1.0 version and beefs them up into a highly professional application that will prove indispensable in any modern veterinary surgery.
Consider its usefulness in the following arenas:

Obesity Weight Clinics: Obesity weight clinics can often be useful yet unprofitable to the practice. Most clients expect their visits as a courtesy, often viewing their food purchase as sufficient payment. Yet a well run clinic can be expensive. Recording the visit, preparation of graphs, reassessment of dietary amounts fed and keeping the client motivated, all takes time! The Weight Clinic software streamlines the process while motivating both client and staff. Now with new reward stamps imprinted directly onto the report makes it more motivating, more transparent and simply more fun!

Puppy and Kitten growth monitoring: Built in growth curves now let you definitively answer that question.. "how big do you think scruffy will grow?" For dogs and cats of less than 52 weeks of age the Weight Clinic allows you to generate growth curves and compare progress compared to the rest of the canine or feline population.

Routine Monitoring: There are many circumstances where changes in an animal's weight is an essential early warning sign. Create graphs for all your clients using the Weight Clinic! You no longer need fixed visit intervals to do this as the software interpolates between visits of any time interval, even 12 months! It has proven useful in early detection of cases of jejunual adenocarcinoma in the cat and lymphosarcoma in dogs.

Weight monitoring in chronic illness: Weight monitoring is an easy yet essential clinical marker in your fight against chronic illness. For example, CRF, Diabetes mellitus, etc.

Weight monitoring and chemotherapy: With the advent of new dietary regimes for the canine undergoing chemotherapy (notably Hill's n/d diet) there are more reasons than ever you should offer your client sound nutritional advice that can extend the life expectancy of their animal.

Avian weight monitoring: Detect illness before it becomes clinically obvious. Birds are great deceivers. It is in their nature to thanks illness as long as possible. A bird may not outwardly display illness, but weight loss cannot be hidden from the clinician!

Human weight Monitoring! I'm sure you will find it hard to stop your staff from using it for their own benefit! Note, graphs are not password protected .....
